Office
The thriving IT company Acaisoft has expanded its operations with a small branch in Gdansk on the 21st floor of the Olivia Star building. It offers a beautiful view of Gdansk, which became the starting point for the design assumptions.
The office, due to its location and layout, is naturally divided into two zones. The entrance one was expanded to include a social heart zone, where we will find a kitchenette with a large island, a meeting place, soft seating areas right next to the facade, hot desks and a phone booth for 4 people. Social heart is a relationship-building zone, but its function is not clearly defined. Any of the spaces can be used for work, if someone feels the need for a change and wants to be in the middle of the bustling city visible outside the window. We know that the zone has many users, due to the team's open, hybrid working model.
The second part of the office opens up with a harmonious view of the Tri-City Landscape Park. It's an ideal place to work continuously in concentration, which was finished in shades of green and complemented by a small lounge area facing the forest. The open zones are separated by a green cubicle, housing a meeting room, manager's office and work room.
The office is perfectly lit, which allowed the client to develop a rather dark branding color scheme and pour the deep greens of the forest into the interior. In the social heart area, the open ceiling was designed in a shade of deep purple, while forest green was introduced into the open space. The colors blend seamlessly in the entrance area, symbolically emphasizing how important team relationships and the concept of work/life balance are.
