The best office in the Tri-City
Corporate office
The first thing that grabs your attention after crossing the threshold of the Nordea office is the unique view from the high floors of the Olivia Star office building. With this unique advantage in mind, numerous design procedures have been applied, thanks to which you can see the Bay of Gdańsk, the Tri-City forests or the red roofs of the old district of Oliwa from almost anywhere in the office.
The concept is based on references to nature and recreating the atmosphere in which as people we feel good and remain interested in our surroundings. The design is figurative and metaphorical, with the acoustic materials used, calming colours, delicate textures and plant motifs bringing to mind a sandy beach, a forest or the waves of the sea.
The entrance zones are the heart of each floor. Here, employees can start their day with a cup of coffee, they can integrate, rest, and work. There are soft seats and deep armchairs, and the aspect that employees like the most are the hammocks hanging by the windows, where you can check e-mails with a laptop on your knees while admiring the view.
The design process was preceded by workshops during which, together with Nordea employees, we analysed the current course of each time of the day spent in the office. Thanks to this, a functional system was built on the basis of the variety of activities identified that the employee performs during the day: focus, meetings, teamwork and integration.
