A Newly Designed Office for O4 Coworking in the Spirit of Zero Waste and Upcycling!
We are excited to present our latest project – a coworking office designed with environmental protection and minimizing our impact on the planet in mind! Our goal was to build, finish, and furnish it using the maximum amount of reclaimed materials. Especially since we had plenty of materials and furniture elements in our storage that we didn’t want to discard – all waiting to be repurposed.
The starting point of the project was dismantling a white vinyl carpet from another office undergoing rearrangement. The white, neutral background needed bold color accents, and PET acoustic panels from our warehouse were perfect for this purpose. We designed geometric compositions using these panels, complemented by painted shapes on the walls. These compositions became the foundation of the interior arrangement.
We sought unconventional materials – cable trays were repurposed into decorative and unique shelving units for greenery and books. We continued this idea in the reception area, where we created an airy, geometric composition from metal mesh remnants, profiles, and trays, forming a backdrop for the O4 logo.
Just like the other elements, all freestanding furniture in meeting rooms, common areas, and workstations were reclaimed. The reception desk was upgraded with added cladding, making it fit perfectly into the interior color scheme. All decorative lighting fixtures were also sourced from our storage.
This project was not easy. The creative process was reversed – we started by collecting available materials and then searched for a unifying concept for them.
The result is a space that perfectly fits the coworking atmosphere – an unconventional, creative, and energetic place.
